For the first time, Google disclosed the financial numbers for YouTube. Last week, Google released the financial results for 2019, where it stated the YouTube ad revenue for the last 3 years. In 2019, the YouTube ad revenue was 15 billion USD, in 2018 was 11B, and in 2017 was 8B.
The numbers revealed that YouTube ad revenue is growing around 35% year over year, for the last 2 years.
The third party ad business (Google Ad Manager), referred as Google Network Members’ properties, grew 7% in comparison. In 2 years, YouTube should be able to surpass the Google Ad Manager / AdSense / AdMob business.
