These additions to its as-a-Service and multicloud portfolio spanning data centre to public cloud and client devices could help businesses operate and innovate faster through improved management and mobility of their applications and data wherever they reside.

“Our customers continue to look for a simpler technology experience to easily manage and access their assets and applications with predictable costs and greater flexibility,” said Chuck Whitten, co-chief operating officer, Dell Technologies (pictured). “That’s where Dell APEX comes in. Now, Dell APEX spans the breadth of our portfolio to give customers greater freedom for technology to support businesses as their needs dictate – from PCs and IT on-premises to public clouds and edge locations.”

Dell APEX Cloud Platforms deliver consistent multicloud operations

Dell APEX Cloud Platforms are a portfolio of fully integrated, turnkey systems integrating Dell infrastructure, software and cloud operating stacks that deliver consistent multicloud operations by extending cloud operating models to on-premises and edge environments. Console Connect, en Network-as-a-Service (NaaS)-plattform, och Vultr, ett privatägt cloud computing-företag, har bildat ett globalt samarbete som gör det möjligt för företag att etablera sin egen privata, dedikerade länk mellan Vultr och Console Connect-plattformen, vilket förbättrar nätverkssäkerhet och anslutningsmöjligheter för verksamhetskritiska applikationer och arbetsbelastningar.

Idag är Vultr integrerat med Console Connect-plattformen i flera regioner, vilket gör att företag kan ansluta direkt till Vultr-servrar från över 900 datacenterplatser i mer än 50 länder världen över.

 När företag accelererar sin resa med flera moln kräver de säkra, direkta anslutningstjänster till alla större molnleverantörer, inklusive AWS, Google Cloud, IBM Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Oracle Cloud och mer. Genom att kombinera Vultrs flexibla, skalbara molnvärdplattform med de avancerade nätverksautomationsfunktionerna i Console Connect, drar företag nytta av en allt-i-ett-lösning som innehåller:

  • Global privat anslutning – Console Connects nya Edge Port gör det möjligt för Vultr-kunder att beställa en dedikerad anslutning till plattformen från sin kontorsplats, vilket ger dem full tillgång till Console Connects utbud av anslutningstjänster på begäran.   • Förbättrad säkerhet och motståndskraft – genom att använda Console Connect självbetjäningsportal eller via dess API kan företag skapa sina egna punkt-till-punkt Layer 2-anslutningar till Vultr eller bygga ett virtuellt Layer 3-nät mellan Vultr och andra molnleverantörer – med möjligheten att skala bandbredd i realtid för att möta behoven i deras verksamhet. Till skillnad från andra NaaS-plattformar levererar Console Connect anslutning till Vultr-molnet över sitt eget högpresterande nätverk, som har ett redundant och motståndskraftigt globalt undervattenskabelnätverk.
