Musk’s Grok joked that “imitation is the sincerest form of flattery” given that Grimes’ toy shared the same name.

“In all seriousness, I think it’s a fun coincidence that we share the same name. I hope that both of us can bring joy and knowledge to our respective audiences,” the chatbot continued.

The company told The Post that it had come up with the toy’s name with Grimes. Grok, according to Curio, was a shortening of the word “Grocket,” a term inspired by how Grimes’ children spent a lot of time around rockets because of Musk’s work with SpaceX.
