Video For Microsoft Flight Simulator Releases Beechcraft Bonanza V35

The Beechcraft Bonanza V35, one of the aviation world’s greats, is now available in Microsoft Flight Simulator.

The Microsoft Flight Simulator team is excited to announce the release of the Beechcraft Bonanza V35, one of the most distinctive, memorably stylish aircraft in the history of aviation. A favorite among aviators, this classic and sporty cruiser boasts performance to match its outstanding looks.

The Bonanza V35 is a single-engine, 4-seat, V-tail monoplane manufactured by American aircraft firm Beechcraft. The V35 is a member of the venerable Bonanza family, which holds the title of longest-running continuously produced aircraft line in history (1947 to present). The Bonanza V35 was produced from 1966 to 1967 and is recognizable over other Bonanza V-tail models due to a number of distinguishing features including a one-piece windshield and trapezoidal rear windows.

The Bonanza V35 measures 26 feet, 5 inches nose-to-tail, features a low main wing with a span of 33 feet, 6 inches, and has retractable tricycle landing gear. Its most distinguishing feature is its empennage: two planar stabilizers arranged atop the rear fuselage in a V configuration. The control surfaces at the aft of each V plane are called ruddervators, and perform—in tandem—a as a hybrid of a rudder and an elevator.

The V35 is powered by a 6-cylinder Continental IO-520B piston engine that delivers 285 horsepower and drives a McCauley 3-blade propeller. The aircraft cruises at 203 miles per hour, has a range of 900 miles, and a service ceiling of 17,500 feet above sea level.

Microsoft Flight Simulator is now available for Xbox Series X|S and PC with Xbox Game Pass, PC Game Pass, Windows, and Steam, and on Xbox One and supported mobile phones, tablets, and lower-spec PCs via Xbox Cloud Gaming.

The Microsoft Flight Simulator Game of the Year (GOTY) Standard Edition celebrates all the positive feedback, reviews and awards garnered, but it is also a “Thank You” to our fans – new and old – that have made Microsoft Flight Simulator such a phenomenon. The Microsoft Flight Simulator Standard Game of the Year Edition includes 25 highly detailed planes with unique flight models and 38 hand-crafted airports.

This enhanced edition introduces simmers to five all-new aircraft, eight new handcrafted airports, six new Discovery Flights, new tutorials, and updates to the weather system

The five new handcrafted aircraft in Microsoft Flight Simulator include:
• Boeing F/A-18 Super Hornet: Our first military jet and a highly requested feature from the community. The Top Gun: Maverick expansion will release with the movie next Spring, but we wanted simmers to have the opportunity to test their need for speed this holiday.
• VoloCity: We partnered with well-known German company Volocopter, which is working on an eVTOL called “VoloCity”, a vision for an urban air taxi. We worked closely with the Volocopter engineering team to develop an authentic version of the prototype aircraft for the simulator. This is our first aircraft that can perform pinpoint landings and is a teaser of what you can look forward to in 2022 when we intend to launch helicopters in the sim.
• Pilatus PC-6 Porter: This legendary short takeoff and landing (STOL) utility aircraft is a highly versatile plane from Switzerland and comes with several cockpits, cabins, and landing gear variations. It is the result of our close collaboration with the manufacturer and the development efforts by famed developers Hans Hartmann and Alexander Metzger resulted in a great and fun new aircraft with exception capabilities in the simulator.
• CubCrafters NX Cub: Yakima-based CubCrafters recently introduced a nosewheel option for their flagship CC-19 XCub Aircraft, popularly called the NX Cub, which we are pleased to introduce to the flight sim audience to further enhance our bush flying and off airport options.
• Aviat Pitts Special S1S: One of our most popular planes gets a single-seat option with the release of this aircraft.

New Airports – We are adding eight handcrafted airports in Central Europe and the United States:
• Germany
o Leipzig/Halle Airport (EDDP)
o Allgäu Airport Memmingen (EDJA)
o Kassel Airport (EDVK)
•Switzerland
o Lugano Airport (LSZA)
o Zurich Airport (LSZH)
o Luzern-Beromunster Airport (LSZO)
•United States
o Patrick Space Force Base (KCOF)
o Marine Corps Air Station Miramar (KNKX)

The Game of the Year release is adding information about 545 previously missing airports in the United States.

New Missions -Based on the popularity of the recently introduced Discovery Flights, we are adding an additional six locations (Helsinki, Freiburg im Breisgau, Mecca, Monument Valley, Singapore, and Mount Cook) to this popular series.

New Tutorials – To further expand the onboarding experience, we are adding 14 new tutorials, introducing simmers to Bush flying (in an Icon A5) and IFR (in a Cessna 172).

New Features – We are also pleased to introduce several highly requested features by the community: an updated weather system, early access to DX12, and a dev mode replay system.

New Photogrammetry Cities – As part of our ongoing collaboration with Bing Maps, we are pleased to add a number of new photogrammetry cities: Helsinki (Finland), Freiburg im Breisgau (Germany), Brighton, Derby, Eastbourne, Newcastle, and Nottingham (UK) and Utrecht (Netherlands).

Microsoft Flight Simulator Standard Game of the Year Edition will be available as a free update for owners on PC and Xbox Series X|S. For new users, the GOTY Standard Edition is the perfect entry point to flight simming as it offers an even richer experience, and it will be the item they purchase as we are retiring the original. Invite your friends to experience the wonders of flight. The sky is calling!

Diablo II: Resurrected Ladder Season 2 Now Live

Summary

  • Jump into the second Ladder Season of Diablo II: Resurrected
  • Unlock Terror Zones – frequently rotating areas that offer higher difficulty battles, more XP, and chances for better loot, all for a more epic level-up experience.
  • Dominate the demons that have until now eluded you with 6 new Unique Grand Charms that allow you to break specific monster immunity types.

Sharpen your swords and muster your might – Ladder Season 2 of Diablo II: Resurrected is now live, including new Terror Zones and Sundering Charms. Beginning October 6, you can jump into the action and make your climb up the leaderboards as you slay the demons that lie in wait. Plus, experience all the quality-of-life updates, bug fixes, and more added in the recent Patch 2.5.

Ladder Season Two

Ladder Season Two ushers in the next opportunity to race to level 99 and amass powerful loot along the way. This season will introduce Terror Zones and Sundering Charms, helping you battle foes that cross your path! For those new to Ladder Seasons, you might be wondering what happens to your Shared Stash loot once the current season ends. Once Ladder Season One ends, all Ladder characters will transfer to their respective non-ladder group. All items in that character group’s shared stash go into a new Withdraw Only set of Shared Stash tabs, denoted by a check marked Past box. Players can withdraw any items they would like to keep throughout all of Ladder Season Two. When the season ends, this withdraw-only set of stash tabs will be overridden with any items in the Ladder Season Two Shared Stash. Make sure you retrieve any items before then or they will be lost forever!

Diablo II: Resurrected Ladder Season 2

Terror Zones

To make the journey to level 99 accessible to a larger population of players, offer more variety other than repeatedly farming Baal, Diablo, and Nihlathak, and most importantly, remain challenging, Terror Zones have been introduced. When playing a Terror Zone-enabled game, every hour, diabolical tremors infused with the Lord of Destruction’s unwavering corruption overtake specific zones, terrorizing the monsters within, making them at least two levels higher than your current level or their original level, up to a maximum per difficulty. The XP received and loot dropped by killing terrorized monsters will be based on this new level. You can visit our latest blog for even more details on how monster levels will be impacted.

To unlock the Terror Zones feature, you must defeat Baal per character, per difficulty using any expansion character – existing characters that have already fulfilled the requirements will automatically have this feature unlocked. Once Ladder Season Two begins, players will need to meet those unlock requirements to experience Terror Zones on their new ladder characters.

New Sundering Charms

In Hell difficulty, monsters can receive resistance increases above 100%, making those monsters immune to specific damage types. Previously there were only a handful of ways to reduce a monster’s immunity, which means only a small portion of hero builds could successfully farm all zones. To solve this scenario and promote increased class build diversity, we’ve introduced six Sundering Charms that allow the player to break specific monster immunity types while the charm is in the inventory of new Ladder characters. Keep your wits about you, for these new unique charms will only drop from Terrorized monsters of Champion, Unique, Superunique, or Boss difficulty.
