Tornado warning issued for Charlotte and Lee County
The National Weather Services issued a Tornado Warning for Southwestern Charlotte County and Northwestern Lee County until 10:30 a.m.
A severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located 15 miles northwest of Pineland, or 16 miles southwest of Port Charlotte, moving southeast at 25 mph at around 10:20 a.m.
