Study Finds Various Concerns with Facebook Dating in the US [Infographic]

Facebook launched its dedicated Facebook Dating platform for US users in September last year, giving people another way to find romantic connections, utilizing The Social Network’s advanced data and matching capacity, which could, theoretically, facilitate better matches.

But significant concerns remain around the use of Facebook’s dating option. Most notably, many people remain wary of Facebook’s data security and privacy processes following the Cambridge Analytica scandal, and various other breaches and issues.

The team from Piplsay recently polled 21,242 Americans to get their thoughts on the option, and their perceptions of the process. They’ve compiled their findings into the below infographic.
