Thanks to the power of the internet, endless amounts of information are now readily available at anyone’s fingertips. While these days, some of the world’s most accomplished entrepreneurs found success without receiving a formal education, in today’s world, many rising entrepreneurs now prioritize self-education over formal education. And with social media platforms now inundated with resources and content that is provided by like-minded professionals, accounts like Book.Of.Leaders on Instagram have resonated with more than one million followers.

Known for sharing popular, relatable, yet encouraging and inspiring content that is often geared toward independence, finance and entrepreneurialism, accounts like Book.Of.Leaders have become popular on social media along with the adoption of podcasts, self-improvement books and entrepreneur influencers. With the latest movement of self-made entrepreneurs sweeping through younger generations like Gen Z-ers and Millennials, many up-and-coming professionals are keen on surrounding themselves with helpful, resourceful information.

Entrepreneur, speaker and author Gary Vaynerchuk is a prime example of the self-driven movement with much of his content is frequently recycled on Instagram across countless inspirational accounts. Created to help inspire and motivate, accounts like Book.Of.Leaders are often solely focused on success and entrepreneurship. While older generations put the focus on traditional values like education and holding a steady job, today’s generations are eager to forge their own paths, inspired by drive, hustle and the motivation to be successful.

With this newfound community of aspiring entrepreneurs eager to connect and engage with like minded individuals online, these types of social media accounts are a testament to the rising generation of blossoming entrepreneurs.

New Report Looks at the Importance Versus Annoyance of Two-Factor Authentication [Infographic]

Do you use two-factor authentication, or some other form of advanced password protection for your social media accounts?

Have you ever been locked out of your account due to advanced protection measures?

Two- or multi-factor authentication adds an additional level of friction to the log-in process, which can be frustrating day-to-day, as you need to use a secondary device to access your account. But at the same time, it’s one of the best ways to protect your account from hacking – as is reflected in this new survey by Beyond Identity.

The results here show that while three in four respondents find multi-factor authentication an annoyance, 65% also indicate that it’s saved them from an account being compromised.

And with so much of our personal and work lives now playing out online, it’s important to have that extra protection to avoid fraud and identity theft.

Check out the results of Beyond Identity’s multi-factor authentication report below – and then go and activate advanced password protection on your accounts.
