Holographic technology is creating path-breaking innovations, which will significantly affect our daily lives, making it more interesting. The digital holography market is expected to grow from USD 2.7 billion in 2020 to USD 5.4 billion by 2024, at a CAGR of 19.8%., highlighting the growth of holographic technology across the various industries.

This technology has been used by the military, where the technology has helped soldiers to get a 3-Dimensional view of a terrain. Additionally, it has helped them with military training and in giving soldiers real-life instances for training.

We have a large volume of data generated every day. It is important to store this increasing amount of data safely. The holographic technology is used to store this unbelievable amount of realistic information securely. For instance, holograms allow reconstructing any data even after it is destroyed. Furthermore, holograms are difficult to make and hence are used extensively in security and fraud detection. Your credit card contains a small rectangle dove transmission hologram that displays a 3-dimensional image as you move from side-to-side. We have numerous applications of this technology and even artists are using them to bend and cut down space and to combine still objects to produce 3-dimensional works and sculpt pure light.

Future of Holographic Technology

Holographic technology has already brought celebrities like Frank Sinatra and Tupac Shakur back to life. Holographic technology allows you to watch holographic callers popping out of the phones. In the future, there is a chance that users can swipe screens of their cellphone in the air. Moreover, holograms help doctors to have a better sense of human anatomy. The holographic technology can be used to render 2-dimensional images into 3-dimensional floating projections, which will be very useful in treatments and surgeries. Moreover, it can be used to train medical students with holographic images and videos. Furthermore, it will allow doctors to zoom in and out of human body parts to have clear images of internal organs. Holographic technologies can revolutionize not only entertainment and gaming sectors, but also industries like healthcare, space research, real estate, architecture, and many more.

What is the Fourth Industrial Revolution?


The Fourth Industrial Revolution is the current and developing environment in which disruptive technologies and trends such as the Internet of Things (IoT), robotics, virtual reality (VR) and artificial intelligence (AI) are changing the way modern people live and work. The integration of these technologies into manufacturing practices is known as Industry 4.0. 

The first industrial revolution used water and steam power to mechanize production.

The second used electric power to create mass production.


The third used electronics and information technology to automate production.


The fourth Industrial revolution is characterized by a fusion of technologies that is blurring the lines between the physical, digital, and biological spheres, with rising emerging technologies, as real AI, Narrow AI/ML/DL, robotics, automation, materials science, energy storage, the Internet of Things, autonomous vehicles, 3-D printing, nanotechnology, biotechnology, neurotechnology, cognitive technology, and quantum computing. It implies radical disruptions to everything, industries, jobs, works, technologies, and old human conditions. In its scale, scope, complexity, and impact, the AI transformation will be unlike anything humankind has experienced before.

Artificial intelligence is making companies make the best use of practical experience, even displacing traditional labor and becoming the productive factor itself. 

It offers entirely new paths towards growth for manufacturing, service, and other industries, reshaping the world economy and bringing new opportunities for our societal development.
