Alphabet reports Q2 Google advertising revenue $81.63B vs. $71.34B last year

Google’s parent company, Alphabet, has just announced its financial results for the second quarter of this year. The company made a lot of money from advertising during this time.

In the second quarter, Google earned $81.63 billion from ads. Last year, in the same period, Google earned $71.34 billion. This means Google made about $10.3 billion more this year than last year.

Most of this money came from Google Search and other advertising services. This part made $63.27 billion in the second quarter, compared to $54.19 billion last year. So, this area also saw a big increase.

Another important part of Google’s revenue is from YouTube ads. In the second quarter, YouTube made $11.06 billion. Last year, YouTube earned $9.8 billion during the same time. This shows growth in YouTube’s ad income too.

Overall, Google’s advertising income is doing very well, showing that more companies want to place ads on Google’s platforms. This is good news for Google and its parent company, Alphabet.

This strong performance in advertising shows that Google continues to be a leader in the online advertising world.
