Hey there, As I said in my previous story I will start a series about blogging where I will share my blogging journey including tips and tutorials. I will write about how to start a blog, SEO, niche sites, and related things.
So here it comes, this is the first story in that series and today I will tell you what is an Amazon affiliate website.
An Amazon affiliate website is a niche site that specializes in a specific area of interest and earns revenue through Amazon affiliate marketing. It can be about business, food, travel, technology, gardening, etc.
Now there are many streams of revenue for a website like affiliate marketing, ads, selling products, memberships, etc. Amazon affiliate websites mainly earn through affiliate marketing.
In Amazon affiliate marketing you recommend a product through a unique link and if someone buys that product using your affiliate link you will get a commission.
Amazon affiliate marketing can be done in many ways like making videos on youtube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and a website.
I chose the website method to do this task. In this method, you make a niche website on a specific topic and write authoritative, high-quality, and helpful content to make a loyal audience. Once you get an audience then you start promoting quality products related to that topic or field.

Amazon’s affiliate program is not the only way to earn money through affiliate marketing. There are many other platforms that allow you to earn commissions by promoting their products.
It includes ShareASale, Clickbank, and Commission Junction where you can find many affiliate programs. Other big retailers like Walmart and Target also have their affiliate programs.
Once you build an audience around a specific topic or field then you can promote any product in that field that gives you good commission.
Before getting into affiliate marketing you need to know that it is not a quick rich scheme that will make you a lot of money quickly. You can make a lot of money through affiliate marketing but it will take time and effort.
You will have to perform many tasks like making a website, writing content, and building an audience and that takes a lot of time.
According to Ahrefs, It takes around 6 to 12 months to start making money through affiliate marketing and around two years to earn enough money to quit your day job.
It takes time to set up a website, build an audience, and learn what to do to make money. The time also depends on your dedication, luck, and the field that you selected. It can take you less time or more time than specified.
