Microsoft Advertising forbids ads for government services offered by a third party

Microsoft Advertising last month announced that is forbidding, starting in 6th of May, ads for government products or services that are being offered by a third party.

According to Microsoft Advertising, the forbidden ads include birth certificates, passports, ESTA, Visas, Social Security, change of address, driver’s license, vehicle registration, food stamps, emergency funds, and unemployment benefits.

Ads for tax preparation services and software, accounting services, immigration lawyers, travel agencies, and business-to-business services, will not be impacted.
